The reasons an outdoor cat should wear a collar extend far beyond our desire for them to look pretty. Reflective, identity and flea repellent collars all serve very important purposes. Of course we do the fluffy, glittery and catwalk worthy collars too! It's important to remember that if your cat is allowed outside, that their collar is elasticated or has a safety catch to prevent them getting stuck anywhere. It's also worth remembering that even if they're wearing an identity collar, it's safer to have your cat micro-chipped in case they get lost.
